This Is a Beautiful St. Pio Set. This Set includes a large 1-3/4-inches tall and 1-1/8-inch across St. Pio Healing Medal and a St. Pio 3rd Class Relic Holy Card. The Relic card measures 3-1/2 2-3/4-inches with a cloth Relic on the front. St. Pio was born with the gift of healing and the stigmata. Beautiful brand new medal was made in Italy and is securely attached to a 24″ continuous (no clasp) stainless steel chain which slips easily on and off over your head. Fits over most heads, and is a good length for men or women. Comes gift boxed and with a St Charbel prayer card & Our Lady of Guadalupe prayer card, plus a gift bag and tissue paper for gift giving! St Charbel (Joussef Makhlouf) was a holy man who lived a life of unsurpassed purity, obedience and humility in the 19th century and was devoted to the Blessed Sacrament. Born in 1828, he gained a reputation for holiness, was said to levitate during prayers, and many people came to him for counsel and blessings. St Charbel died of natural causes in 1898 and was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1977. St Charbel lived in Lebanon and his tomb today is a place of pilgrimage by Christians and non-Christians alike. A message given to us by the Blessed Virgin Mary on July 13, 1985 in Australia mentions bringing St Charbel to the world to bring peace. It may be fitting that Our Lady mentions this little known saint since he lived and died in a war-torn Middle East country where so much blood-shed occurs every day. Care of item: this item can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth. Getting wet not recommended, with the exception of Solid Stainless Steel, Sterling Silver or Gold. If wet dry completely. This Is a Beautiful St. Jude Set. This Set includes a large 1-3/4-inches tall and 1-1/8-inch across St. Jude Healing Medal and a St. Jude 3rd Class Relic Holy Card. The Relic card measures 3-1/2 2-3/4-inches with a cloth Relic on the front. St. Jude is the Patron Saint of Difficult Situations. Beautiful!!Relics of Christian Saint’s fall into categories: the First Class Relic is the body or a portion of the body of a Saint (bone, flesh, or hair). These are considered so precious that they are rarely entrusted to individuals, but are placed in Faith Communities. The Second Class Relic is an item or piece of an item used by the Saint while on the body (clothing, Bible, Breviary, Mass vestments, and so on). Again, Second Class Relics are considered so precious that they are rarely entrusted to individuals, but are placed in Faith Communities. Third Class Relics typically fall into 2 categories. The first category is a piece of cloth touched to a First or Second Class Relic of the Saint.
